Ok here you'll find the basic game rules for this forum. I'll edit here if I add or adjust the rules.
The first thing you do after registering is go to the register your team and fill make a post with your team.
Rules on Exploration Teams:
1) you may have only up to 3 pokemon on your team. (This is refering to your on site team.) Which also means you may if you want, only have 1 or 2 on your team.
2) No legedaries. Since there are only 1 of each legendary, you may not have him/her on your team.
3) You must have that pokemon on your Pokemon Mystery Dugeon Game. For those who are only doing the Role play part of the forum you are exempt from this rule.
Badge Rank
By completing missions and matches your can earn Points towards your badge's rank. Once you obtain a certain rank. (this rank is unknown at this time but I'll get to there eventually) then you'll graduate from your guild and be able to accept mission and practice battles from any of the guilds
Missions
Once you've filled out your team registration. On it you will choose the guild you wish to apprentice under. Now, you'll go to you chosen guild and check out the thing there. At the guild you can take on a mission(s) from the mission areas by posting which missions that you're going to atempt. These missions are in fact a wondermail code you plut into your games. There're will be wondermail codes for all the Mystery dugeon games. (combining Time and darkness). You MAY NOT do a mission someone else is all ready doing. As in, if someone posts that they're going to do a certain mission then you may not do that mission. If you complete the mission you must post in the thread that you've completed the mission and whatever the unknown thing on it that the guild will tell you. As in, In order to make sure you actually do the mission the mission will have something on it that you will not know until you complete the mission. Like an unknown reward or unknown floor. After you've finished the mission you'll post that you've finished the mission as well as posting what the unknown part is.
Rules on completing missions.
1) Like mentioned earlier, you may not try to do a mission someone else is doing or have done. (there may be some exception to this rule. one is during special versus missions where you have to complete a mission before someone else does.)
2) No cheat codes allowed while your doing the mission. if you've used a max stat cheat on your team or an item cheat before you start the mission that is exceptable. this rule mainly refers to cheat like floor modifier codes and full belly codes. This rule is especially true to missions where your competing against someone else.
Practice battles.
Practice battles are matches against others in your guild to earn badge rank points.
You guild's master will set up you team in a match against another team from your guild. Each of you will write a Role play for your match pretty much saying why you think your team will win and stuff like that. Then you'll both submit them. Once submitted they'll be judged and the one with the better role play wins the match. One of the judges (or someone atleast) will write up a role play with the results of the match. as in he'll/she'll show you exactly what happened in the match.
Rules for Practice Battles:
1) Role plays must be 3000 words or less.
2) Role plays are done in the view of your character. Not in your view.
3) You may put some story line in your role plays
4) You may not have someone elses character in your role plays. You can talk about them but not have them physically present.
5) You may make a sprite comic or a comic instead of typing out a role play. The limit is 50 panels for now. This may go up or down depending on what I've seen
Guild Wars
During some time we'll have special events called guild wars. In this teams will get booked for matches for either a mission match or battle match. These matches will be worth more points than normal missions and practice battles. Teams that have graduated can side with any guild during these events.
Challenge Requests
A challenge request is where you can ask to have a match with someone else. You can use any of the above match types. The person you ask can either be a specific person or an open request to anyone or one that's more specific. As in you could ask random joe to be your opponent, say that anyone can accept, someone from specific guild, or some one with a certain badge rank. once someone accepts your challenge let your guild master know and he'll/she'll set the match up for you.
1) once you accept the challenge, you must complete it.
2) you do not have to accept any challenge you don't want. including the ones the specifically call you out. but if they do call you out please respond, even if it's just to say our not accepting the challenge. Please make it clear that your rejecting the challenge (but be nice about it.)
That's all I have for right now. PM me if you have any questions.
